How do I Install LapLink Remotely using the LapLink Serial Cable? - Search Again

SUMMARY

Older versions of LapLink had a feature that allowed me to install the software remotely using the blue cable. How can I do this with my new version?

SOLUTION

Unfortunately, the current versions of LapLink do not support this feature. The last version of LapLink to have this feature was LapLink for Windows 3.x, version 6. This feature was removed because of changes in Windows 95/NT core components, and because of the installation process required by Windows. You will need to install the program into each computer from the CD. If a computer does not have a CD-ROM, consider creating diskettes with LapLink's Make Disk utility.
