CAUSE These errors are typically generated on Windows 95 computers because the machine does not have Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher. Computers with Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher that receive this error typically have a damaged Internet Explorer component. SOLUTION For computers running Windows 95: Install or upgrade to Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher from Microsoft's web sites. This is a system requirement for PCsync.
For computers running Windows 98 or Windows Millennium, do one of the following:
- Upgrade to Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher from Microsoft's web site.
- If the Internet Explorer has been updated from what is included in the Operating System you can typically run the repair utility within Windows to repair the program. This is accomplished as follows:
- From the Windows Start menu, go to Settings and click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
