Error Message: Severe error: In order to install LapLink, you must have Administrator System rights - Search Again

SUMMARY

When I try to install LapLink, I receive the error Severe error: In order to install LapLink, you must have Administrator System rights. What can I do to install LapLink?

SOLUTION

1. Contact your Network Administrator to have Administrator Rights assigned to you.


2. Log off and log on with the account that has Administrator Rights.


3. Install LapLink.


4. If you have Administrator Rights, see Technical Document 86 How to Install LapLink on a Windows NT System in VGA mode.
