Error Message: Dynamic Link Library Rasman.dll Failed - Search Again

SUMMARY

When I try to install LapLink, I receive the error Initialization of the dynamic link library C:\WINNT\System32\RASMAN.DLL failed to load. The process is terminated abnormally. What can I do to install LapLink on my computer?

CAUSE

During LapLink's Custom installation, it looks for Windows dial-up networking drivers. If they are not installed, this error occurs.

SOLUTION

Restart LapLink's setup program and choose the Express or Typical. You'll be able to connect using a serial cable, TCP/IP or IPX network or a modem connection.

If you wish to use LapLink with Dial-up Networking, you must install Remote Access Server (RAS).
