Reinstalling LapLink that is Bundled with a New Computer Purchase - Search Again

SUMMARY

I received LapLink when I purchased my new computer, and I need to reformat my hard drive. What can I do to make sure that I can reinstall LapLink when I've finished reinstalling Windows?

SOLUTION

When a computer manufacturer, also known as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) licenses LapLink from LapLink.com, the license agreement stipulates that the OEM will provide a method for the computer owner to transfer the LapLink application to a second computer, or to reinstall LapLink. The method used to fulfill this requirement is the OEM's choice.

If you have LapLink Professional, Technical, LapLink 2000 or LapLink Gold, follow the Create Setup Diskettes link from the main LapLink Welcome window. Make these diskettes before reformatting your hard drive.
