How do I create a Desktop Shortcut for LapLink? - Search Again

 

SUMMARY

After I installed LapLink, I noticed that there is no Desktop shortcut. How do I create a shortcut for LapLink on my desktop?

 

SOLUTION

A shortcut can easily be created for LapLink. Follow these steps:

  1. Using Windows Explorer, browse to the directory where LapLink is installed.

    2. Note: The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\LapLink
  2. Click the icon for LapLink.exe and drag to your wallpaper

If you have Internet Explorer 4.01 or later installed, or you are using Windows 98, Windows Millennium or Windows 2000, you can also drag your mouse to the Quick Launch section of your Task Bar. This is usually just to the right of the Start button.
