You can copy the contents of the LapLink CD-ROM into a folder on your desktop by following these steps:

Create a Temporary Folder

  1. Right-click on your Windows desktop, point to New and click Folder.

  2. Name the folder LapLink.

Getting Ready to Copy the Files
  1. Place the LapLink CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

  2. Note: If the LapLink Welcome screen opens, close it.
  3. Double-click the My Computer icon.

  4. From the View menu, click Options or Folder Options.

  5. Click the View tab.

  6. Click Show all Files and click OK.
    Note: If Show all Files is already selected, click OK to close the window.

Copying the Files to the Temporary Folder
  1. Right-click the CD-ROM drive and click Open.

  2. From the Edit menu, click Select all.

  3. From the Edit menu, click Copy.

  4. Close any open windows.

  5. Double-click the LapLink folder created in step 1.

  6. From the Edit menu, click Paste. This will copy the Laplink installation files to the temporary folder.
