A Test of the Accuracy of the New Terraserver Color Photo Maps

In this screen capture provided by USAPhotoMaps, the lower green dot is at the NAD-83 coordinates of a first order survey marker in a grassy area just SE of the parking area of a small church (to the NW).  I visited the area and noticed that actual marker is slightly northward of the white parking stripe and not slightly southward as shown.  So, I converted the coordinates to WGS-84 with HTDP.EXE.  These coordinates are at the upper green dot.  THIS dot is within a foot or two of the actual marker.  I estimate that the dots themselves are about four feet wide.
